Yoga Retreats

We are thrilled to announce that we will be Hosting Yoga Retreats in 2024!!  With 4 Double Rooms each with their own shower rooms, we can offer a small intimate environment in a tranquil area but still within a short walk of the local restaurants and cafes and activities on the River Vienne including Kayaking, standup paddle boarding etc.  Most of our Retreats are 7 nights but please contact us to discuss your needs we do offer some flexibility and shorter retreats.

Karly Holland-Taylor

Karly is a yoga and meditation teacher with over 500 hours of training. She enjoys teaching most styles including Vinyasa, Hatha, and also Yin and Restorative yoga. With a deep passion for a holistic approach to health and wellness, Karly also offers nutritional and physical development coaching. She is a keen advocate of cold water immersion and is also a breathwork practitioner. With a love of nature and the outdoors, she can also offer forest bathing, guided meditative walks and meditation, and breathwork sessions.

Sharon Downes

Sharon Downes, D.Hyp MHF, seasonal Hatha yoga teacher, is a healthcare professional with more than 20 years of experience in mind and body therapies. She teaches Hatha yoga and offers sessions in hypnotherapy, past life regression, Reiki, Rahanni Celestial Healing, and meditation.

Nicky Howard

Nicky Howard has lived in France for over 20 years.  As well as a coach and energy healer, she is an intuitive artist, harnessing the power of creativity to heal, inspire and empower you to take your life to the next level.  Intuartiv Expression, (her own creation) which you will discover in this retreat, is an alchemy of acrylic paint, essential oils and your subconscious, which together take you on a magical journey of self-discovery and empowerment. No Creative experience necessary as Nicky will guide you throughout this process

Accommodation

The accommodation for the retreat is two cute adjoining stone cottages which are run as a gite in the summer and a gite and chambre d'hotes (bed and breakfast) at other times.

Each cottage has a kitchen and lounge, Wi-Fi, TV, and is very comfortable.

All rooms are private and lockable. Three rooms are ensuite shower rooms and the fourth room has a private shower room just outside the bedroom.

There is a gorgeous, typical French walled courtyard garden to the rear of the property which is where most meals will be served and is a wonderful place to relax in.

Across the quiet residents lane, there is the private garden facing the River Vienne with a large wooden terrace where yoga will be held in the mornings. After that, it can be used for sunbathing and you can take advantage of the private plunge pool in this garden.

50 meters up the lane, there is another private haven of a garden with a fire pit and this is where the group will have more private sessions and a private massage area also.
